- Booking and account details when you schedule a discovery call or session, or create a client portal account.
- Health and wellness information you provide as a client, including health history, symptoms, medications, supplements, lifestyle habits, goals, and lab results.
- Payment information, which is collected and processed by our payment processor. We do not store your full card number.
- Messages you send us through contact forms, email, the client portal, or social media.
- Your email address when you join our newsletter or download a free resource.

When you visit our website, our website platform and analytics tools may automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and the website that referred you. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

- Practice Better, our secure client portal for scheduling, intake forms, client records, messaging, and video sessions.
- Our payment processor (Stripe), to process payments securely.
- Fullscript, our online supplement dispensary, when we set up supplement recommendations for you.
- Laboratory partners, when you choose to order lab testing through us.
- Wix, which hosts our website and provides website analytics.
- Email and newsletter platforms, to send communications you have signed up for.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to a valid legal process, to protect the safety of you or others, or in connection with a change in the ownership of our business. Any disclosure of client health information follows our Notice of Privacy Practices.
4. Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored on your device that help a website remember your preferences and understand how it is used. Our website uses cookies for basic site functions and for analytics. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the website may not work as smoothly if you do. Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, so our website does not currently respond to them. You can still manage cookies through your browser at any time.

Client health information is stored in our secure, HIPAA-compliant client portal rather than in general email or website forms. Access is limited to the members of our team who need it to support you. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending detailed health information through website contact forms or social media.
6. How Long We Keep Information
We keep client records for as long as needed to provide services and to meet professional and legal record-keeping requirements. Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or store it securely until it can be deleted.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- Ask to see the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are required to keep.
- Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any message.
- Reply STOP to opt out of text messages.

8. Your California Privacy Rights
We are based in California and respect the privacy rights California law gives its residents. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 allows California residents to ask whether a business has shared their personal information with third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information for that purpose. Medical and health information about our clients is also protected under California's Confidentiality of Medical Information Act, as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
9. Children's Privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online. Services for clients under 18 are arranged by a parent or legal guardian, who provides consent and information on the minor's behalf. If you believe a child has given us personal information without a parent's consent, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Websites
Our website links to other sites and platforms, such as our client portal, Fullscript, Canva, Substack, and social media. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to read.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If we make significant changes that affect how we use client information, we will let current clients know by email or through the client portal.
